I was at the Sheffield Student Union bar yesterday and saw this. They are having an eating contest. You can buy tickets here if you want to try but it looks like you can just turn up.

No time limit. You get a t-shirt and certificate if you complete it. Looks straight forward enough, unless they meant, 1kg of beef, chicken, etc. I think the whole burger weighs 1kg though. With no time limit, it’ll be easy, similar to the flaming grill challenge.
The Sheffield Student Union is located at Bar One on Glossop Road, Sheffield. You don’t need to be a student to go in most nights but on some nights it is student only.
