This is a user submitted challenge. Thanks Andrew for the tip off.
The Common Room in Sheffield reopened this summer after a refurbishment. They now have an extensive ribs menu. On there is a challenge.
There is not much of an indication to the size of this challenge. At £40 though, its big. I went in and ordered a large Beef Long Rib from the menu and that was huge.
I didn’t manage it. That was due to the fattiness of the ribs too. A lot of fat on beef ribs. Its pub me off trying the challenge. I’d need to have a picture of the thing before I ordered it.
If you want to have a try though, here are the details. At the time of writing the challenge is undefeated.
1st Floor (above Forum Shops)
127-129 Devonshire Street
If you want a large burger, they do a
Whole Damn Farm Burger.
4oz beef patty, Southern fried chicken breast, monterey jack cheese, pulled beef rib, pulled pork, bacon, onion ring, chopped jalapeños, lettuce, tomato,
burger sauce & BBQ sauce with portions of house fries & sweet potato fries too. For an extra £1.50 you can an extra patty. Ends up being a monster burger and very filling.
