258oz steak challenge – for 10 people or less 2

This is a user submitted challenge. Not really a challenge as such. No one person is going to be able to eat this. It’d be for a team of people at least. Thanks Alex.

We are celebrating James Gillray’s birthday and this week he would have been 258 years old!
James Gillray’s is our famous caricaturist and you can see his drawings in the Steakhouse.

To mark this occasion we offer you the chance to eat 258 oz. of Steak!

Feel free to invite a small group of friends and enjoy

• 2 x 1 kg of Bullshead Cut,
• 2 x 1kg of Bavette Steaks,
• 1 kg Chateaubriand,
• 1 kg Sirloin Heart Steak,
• 1.3kg of Gillray’s Smoked Short Ribs.

The price is £352.

A bit steep for anyone taking the challenge. I reckon 4 people would be able to do this. At practically £100 a person though (with the tip) its not something you’d really want to do as a challenge.

However, if you are in central London with a group of friends, it could be a nice option. I’ve wrote about the place before. Really nice streak house on the Thames.
